Willow & Bark Hair Studio is a private, boutique suite in West Palm Beach designed around one belief: when your nervous system feels safe, your hair thrives. This is slow beauty, intentional care, and healthy hair first. THE PHILOSOPHY: REGULATED BEAUTY In a world that keeps us in constant fight-or-flight, regulation isn’t a luxury. It’s essential. Chronic overstimulation impacts everything — elevated cortisol, poor sleep, increased anxiety, tension in the body, hormonal imbalance, and that constant feeling of being “on.” Many of us have forgotten what it actually feels like to be calm in our bodies. This is why Willow & Bark was designed as a nervous system safe space. Low, warm lighting: Harsh overhead lighting triggers alertness and stress. Soft, dim lighting cues your brain that you are safe, helping to lower cortisol and quiet the mind. Grounding scents: Scent speaks directly to your limbic system — your emotional brain. Intentionally chosen grounding scents help slow your heart rate, ease anxiety, and bring you back into your body. A calm, quiet environment: No loud salon floors. No overlapping conversations. No rushing. Just you, me, and intentional, unhurried hair. When your environment is calm, your body finally has permission to rest. This is why I choose a slow hair approach in a busy world. Because healthy hair doesn’t grow from a dysregulated place. WHAT MAKES MY STUDIO DIFFERENT This is not a high-volume salon. It’s a private, 1:1 studio experience. Every appointment is just you and me. No double-booking. No juggling multiple clients. Your time is protected and never rushed. My appointments are intentional and thorough, starting with a complimentary consultation to discuss your inspiration, maintenance level, budget, lifestyle, and complete hair history. I will always give you honest recommendations — even if that means saying “not yet” to protect the health of your hair. WHO THIS SPACE IS FOR Willow & Bark was created for the client who values regulation over rushing. You are welcome here if you value intentional care, kindness, and self-respect — for yourself and for others. To preserve the peace of this space and the quality of your experience, I keep my books intentionally limited. Once my books are full, I will not be taking new clients. I am currently taking clients who desire this type of experience. A NOTE ON BOOKING & COMMUNICATION Because Willow & Bark is private and by appointment only, I am fully present with the guest in my chair. To protect their time and experience, I am unable to answer phone calls and messages while I am with clients. For the fastest booking, please request your appointment through my online booking site. If you have a question, you are welcome to text the salon phone. Inquiries can be texted to the salon phone and I kindly ask that you allow one business day for a response. I also lovingly protect my time outside of business hours and do not answer messages outside of business hours, so I can rest and return fully present for my clients. In order to protect everyone’s appointment times, please arrive on time. Cancellation Policy

I kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for any appointment cancellations or rescheduling requests. Appointments canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled service time will be subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the reserved service amount. Same day no-shows will be subject to a fee of 100% of the reserved service amount. By booking an appointment, you agree to these terms.
